Sergt. “Bobby” Tells of Commander's
Devotion to Company C. Boys.

 Sergt. “Bobby” Rinker, who was with Capt. Harry B. Doremus just before his death, and who mailed to Mrs. Doremus the last words of the Captain in a note book, writes interestingly to Charles MacGowan, and praises Capt. Doremus for his bravery and his devotion to his boys.

Harry B. Doremus was KIA on October 27, 1918 and articles, such as this, were still appearing in the paper after the first of the year telling of the Captain's bravery and his devotion to his men.
